​Trans women Nawat students are raising funds to gift Elders Nawat speakers in Witzapan (the cultural center of the Nawat speaking world) with refajos, a cultural marker of pride and resistance. 

​This mutual aid is organized by Petrona Xemi Tapepechul, Nantzin Sixta, Nantzin Anastacia, and Nantzin Andrea. They also work on language revitalization and trans women's rights.
